Accessibility Statement

Piacentini S.rl. is committed to making its website accessible in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and in accordance with the WCAG 2.2 – Level AA guidelines published by the W3C.

Compliance status

The website www.piacentinisrl.eu is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, due to the non-compliances described in the following section.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not yet fully compliant with accessibility guidelines:

  • Some PDF documents are not yet fully accessible (e.g. lack of semantic tags or alternative text for images);
  • Some online forms may not have associated labels or may lack clear and understandable error messages;
  • Some links or buttons may not have a clear textual description for users of assistive technologies;
  • Some interactive visual elements may not comply with the accessibility criteria introduced in version 2.2 (e.g. minimum touch target size of 24x24px, persistent focus, etc.);
  • A “Skip to main content” link may be missing, preventing keyboard users from bypassing the initial navigation menu.

Corrective measures in progress

We are working to improve the full accessibility of the website through:

  • Review of PDF documents using accessible tagging techniques;
  • Updating forms to fully support keyboard navigation and screen readers;
  • Correction of the semantic structure and addition of a skip link to jump to the main content section;
  • Periodic checks using automated tools (e.g. WAVE, Lighthouse, axe DevTools);
  • Manual testing with real users and assistive technologies (NVDA, VoiceOver, keyboard-only);
  • Staff training on web accessibility and inclusive content creation.
